Dr. Rosie Phillips Davis, a professor and former President of the American Psychological Association, is passionate about inspiring children and adults alike to overcome adversity and thrive through imagination and resilience. With roots in Memphis and a lifetime of advocacy, she brings her story to life in Rosie’s Superpower

Akil Apollo Davis is a transdisciplinary artist, educator, and performer with over 18 years of experience inspiring transformation through art. Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he blends the rhythms of Hip-Hop, blues, and jazz with global traditions and modern methodologies. As the co-innovator of the Brahe-Davis Method of Mask, Akil has pioneered using masks for transformation, healing, and artistic expression. His mantra, "There must be more light," reflects his mission to illuminate minds, nurture spirits, and empower others to connect with their most authentic selves.
